Hana sat on a checkered blanket under a tree. A large oak tree, it big branches and lush leaves provided a great shade on a hot day, like today. It was a Saturday and she was out of school, and she hadn't heard from Tohru today so she had nothing to do. She had recently got a new book and decided to go to the park to read it.
She flipped the page, as her eyes scanned over the printed pages, reading fast. She was a fast reader and it never took her long to read. She would be done with this book by the end of the day. She ran a finger through the end of her long dark braid. Her eyes lifted to the tree's branched above her, as a bird began to sing. She watched as it hoped from branch to branch.
Her eyes lowered once more to the pages of her book. She flipped once more the pages and scanned the words once more. She closed the book and laid it on her lap. she closed her eyes and sighed. She was so bored and there was nothing to do.
She then laid the book on the blanket and stood to her feet. She flipped her braid over her shoulder and walked over to a small pond in the middle of the lake. She bent over, looking into the sparkling water. The reflextion of the clouds were clear in the water. She could see small siluets of fish swimming by.

Torhu had a long and complicated day, Yuki had told her to get out of the house for a little while, because she had been working all day. Even though she did not want to, Torhu had went anyway on the fact that it was a beautiful day out, and she did not want to miss out on it. Even though the city was a long walk for her, she went anyway. Maybe different scenery would help.
On her way, she thought about Kyo, she was worried about him. She had not seen him in a while, and it was starting to scare her. As she thought about that, Yuki told her not to worry about that either. Torhu sighed. She did not want anyone to worry about her, she could handle herself. It was not that she did not care about what everyone had to say, it was just that it would be impossible...
When Torhu got into the city, she walked into the park. It was time for a nice walk. Heading farther into the park, she noticed Hana. One of her best friends. "Hana!" Torhu called out to her making her way through the people to get over to her. She sat down and waited for her ryplie.

Hana smiled warmly as she saw Tohru walking to where she was standing. She stood and held her right hand up, waving slowly to Tohru. "Hello Tohru," She said when Tohru had arrived to her. "What are you doing here today? I would have expected you to be at your house with Yuki and Kyo...and that writer...Shigure? Yes...Why are you not there?" She asked her walking back the little ways there was from her to the blanket.
She sat down and scooted the book over a ways to make more room for her legs. She was sitting with the out beside her and her hands on her lap. She reached up and pulled her braid over her shoulder and fingered it slowly watching Tohru carefully.
"Please do not take my question the wrong way though, I am very pleased to see you here...It has been a while since we last got to be together alone...I mean without all those people at school...easdropping." She paused a bit to look up at the sky. "It is pretty today though...I can see why you chose today to come to the park...Or did Uo tell you I was here? I don't think she knew...but she does seem to have a way of...knowing." She looked back at Tohru and smiled again.
"Whatever the case Tohru-Chan, I am most happy you came..." She said keeping her warm smile on Tohru. She was unsure why Tohru was here...but maybe it was meant to be...Maybe something was bothering Tohru and she needed to talk about it, and Hana was the person that could help her with it. Hana could tell though, something was bothering her, even though most of the time she tended not to tell anyone when something was bothering her, so Hana couls only guess by the waves she was putting off.

"Well, to start off the three of them kicked me out of the house. They said something about working too much.." Tohru said, she liked to work, but they told her to get out of the house. "No, its ok." She was not the type to take things the wrong way. Although sometimes, she wished that Yuki and Kyo would not worry about her so much, she could take care of herself.
"Um, I just have been passing through Hana. I have not seen Uo in a little while." Tohru said, making sense of what Hana was talking about. She was hoping that Kyo and Yuki did not follow her, she would have a fit if they did. For sometimes they could be a bit nosy. She shook her head as she sat down.

Hana nodded. "I see...Well, as long as they weren't too foceful..." She said jokingly, though in her Hana way. She laughed a little after speaking. And yes...I haven't seen Uo around either...I hope she is alright...it would be most terrible if something had happened to her..." She said in a very misterious, taunting way. Though, of course, she was only picking, as she did all the time. She still did it even though she knew that sometimes Tohru took it to heart and worried over what she had said. She was so naive...Hana liked that about Tohru...She had a young, loving, caring spirit...Not many people had that anymore, it was nice to see every now and then.
She blinked, realizing that she had zoned out in thought. Her eyes scanned over the face of her beloved friend. She thought of how lost she would be without Tohru. "Yes indeed I would..." She mummbled not near loud enough for Tohru to hear. "I think we should do something Tohru...Today is nice...Sitting in the park does not do it justice at all...Wouldn't you say?" She said, though it seemed as though she was speaking to herself, for she was not even looking at Tohru.
She put a hand on her knee and pushed, raising to her feet, keeping a kind of sway as she did so. She looked at Tohru, absentmindedly fingering her dark braid. "Yes...Lets do something...We could..." She sighed and paused her speaking. "You pick Tohru...You should be able to thinkg of something very fun to do." She said kindly, smiling warmly to Tohru. Tohru's waves were always such a comfort to her. She loved being around this girl.

"Yes, for Kyo and Yuki's birthday is coming up and I think we should make them something..." Tohru said as she stood up.

((OOC: don't worry about it, I understand.))
Hana scanned Tohru's face as Tohru spoke, obviously thinking. "Well I do have to go shopping....grocries. Would that be ok with you?" Tohru was saying. Hana nodded, as Tohru added something as she stood. "Yes, for Kyo and Yuki's birthday is coming up and I think we should make them something..." Hana looked at Tohru, pausing midway while she was standing. She only paused momentarily to listen to what Tohru was saying.
After Tohru was done talking she finished standing up and dusted herself off, even though she had been sitting on a blanket the whole time. Hana nodded again, slowly fingering her long, dark braid.
"Good idea, Tohru. That would please them greatly, I believe." She stated. She watched Tohru, as she bent down and folded the blanket they had been sitting on. She kept the book in the middle of the blanket, making it shaped like the book.
"Let us go." She tucked it under her arm, and walked up to Tohru. "Ready when you are."
